The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing project coordination support, workflow management support and taking the lead on creative development for the full range of functions managed by the Marketing Team.
- Supporting the roll-out of all marketing executions, ensuring the smooth operationalization of quality, accurate, approved and deadline-compliant projects.
- Supporting other creative functions of the Communications, Digital and Marketing Directorate with necessary and required content.
Minimum Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Journalism or similar field
- 4 years’ experience in a similar role / in a Marketing Department
- Experience managing fast-paced design workflow, preferably using a project management tool (Trello most preferable)
- Experience with Art Direction, including graphical content, photo, video and audio shoots
- Experience conceptualising and writing content for all Marketing platforms
- Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, Teams, and basic Adobe Acrobat
Advantageous attributes and experience:
- Experience with proofreading / copy-editing
- Experience with appropriate design software tools (Adobe Design Suite, Canva)
- Experience facilitating sign-off with various role-players across an organisation
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for occasional business use
