Job summary

Takealot Group in Cape Town seeks a Digital Graphic Designer to join the Retail Media team. You will craft digital design executions for CRM, banners, video, and in-app experiences, ensuring on-brand delivery and timely outputs.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in Graphic Design, 3–5 years' experience, strong Photoshop/Illustrator, knowledge of HTML5, and familiarity with CMS tools like Braze or MailChimp. Motion graphics and AI prompting knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Graphic Design.
• 3–5 years’ experience in Graphic Design.
• Excellent self-management and communication skills.
• Motion effects/After Effects or any animation/video program knowledge advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of HTML5.
• Experience building, editing, and managing modular templates within CMS systems (Braze, Salesforce, MailChimp, Stripo).
• Strong Photoshop & Illustrator skills.
• Good understanding of digital and mobile design principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver digital design executions for CRM, banners, video and in-app elements.
• Create Retail Media go-to-market materials (pitch decks, flyers, social posts).
• Collaborate with the design, Retail Media and Marketing teams.
• Ensure on-brand delivery and timely outputs.
• Improve design and retail media collaboration through process documentation.
