Job summary

Konecranes has a vacancy for a field service technician responsible for preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs and commissioning of cranes and hoists at customer sites. The role includes documenting safety features and advising customers on improvements.

The successful candidate will have 5 years of field service experience, electrical trade qualifications where required, and LMI accreditation where applicable, with strong SHEQ, Microsoft Office skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 5 years field service experience.
• Working technical knowledge of cranes.
• SHEQ knowledge and understanding of its legislation.
• Excellent level of computer literacy on Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on cranes and hoists at varied customer locations.
• Conduct post-repair audits and document deficiencies with safe-operational tagging.
• Provide written safety notifications and repair recommendations to customers.
• Discuss repair/safety concerns and prepare quotes where needed.
• Complete service reports accurately and on time using digital tools.
