Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for a flexible role ASAP in a supportive and welcoming school? Have you recently graduated and looking for work in a secondary school? Do you specialise in subjects such as Maths or Science?

Protocol Education is seeking a Cover Supervisor in a fantastic Secondary school in Leytonstone. Are you passionate, confident and adaptable? This is a great opportunity for you to gain classroom experience before pursuing a teaching career or if you enjoy working with young people in an educational setting. This opportunity offers potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

About the role:

• Supervise lessons in the absence of a teacher using pre-prepared materials.
• Maintain classroom behaviour and ensure students stay engaged with learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

What we are looking for:

• Preferably experience with young people (tutoring, mentoring or coaching).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confident in managing behaviour and leading a class.
• A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
