Job description

SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) is the leading independent provider of accredited Psychology, Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Management and Social Work qualifications, with all courses grounded in psychology. We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online.

SACAP Global is looking for a Course Co-Ordinator. This position is fixed term for a period of 12 months.

At SACAP Global, the Course Co-Ordinator provides ongoing frontline course and technical support to learners, assessors and internal SACAP staff across allocated courses. They implement a variety of tasks to ensure excellent course preparation, delivery and evaluation end to end. Furthermore, they provide administrative support to the SACAP Global team.


Main Purpose of the Job:

  • Seamlessly completing all course preparation, delivery and review tasks to ensure excellent running of courses end to end;
  • Monitoring classes and queries to provide support and guidance: identify any learner and/or assessor challenges or concerns and following up appropriately;
  • Providing administrative support to the SACAP Global Team;
  • Thoroughly understanding the Learning Management System in order to provide expert course and technical support to stakeholders;
  • Monitoring course performance: gathering and reporting on course data.

This role reports directly to the Lead Course Co-Ordinator: SACAP Global.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A degree qualification in the discipline of education or psychology or a related cognate field (e.g. HR).
  • 1 year full time experience offering online learner support via an LMS, preferably within the field of Higher Education or corporate training.
  • 2 years fulltime course administration and data management experience.
  • 6 months experience working with HTML/CSSor a comfort with editing web-based content.
  • Technologically savvy, with a special interest in online education.

Operating Hours

This is a full-time position operating from Mondays to Fridays*:

Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00

Friday: 08:30 – 16:00
