Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) invites applications for the role of Country Lead: Sustainability to join the Public Affairs, Communication & Sustainability team in South Africa. You will lead the country's sustainability strategy, drive environmental and social impact, ensure regulatory compliance, and build strategic partnerships to deliver measurable business and community outcomes.

Qualifications

Degree in Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Engineering or related field.
Postgraduate qualification (e.g., Master’s in Sustainability) is an advantage.
8–10 years experience in Sustainable Development.
Experience in regulated environments and engaging with government and NPOs.
Knowledge of SDGs, ESG reporting and sustainability metrics.

Responsabilités

Develop and implement the country’s sustainability strategy aligned with global goals.
Drive initiatives in packaging, water stewardship, carbon reduction and waste.
Lead CSI programs delivering measurable social impact and transformation.
Engage regulators, environmental agencies, NPOs and industry bodies.
Oversee compliance and sustainability reporting and governance.
