With a strong presence in Asia and growing exports, we are expanding into the African water infrastructure markets. We seek dynamic professionals to lead our DIP sales operations in Italy and beyond.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to drive Ductile Iron Pipe sales in African region. The role involves developing strategic partnerships, managing large infrastructure and water utility accounts, participating in tenders, and expanding market share for Rashmi Metaliks in this competitive space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies for Ductile Iron Pipes in Italy and Europe.
  • Build relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, water authorities, municipal bodies, and distributors.
  • Participate in public and private sector tenders for water transmission, sewerage, and infrastructure projects.
  • Represent Rashmi Metaliks in trade fairs, expos, and industry conferences across Europe.
  • Coordinate with the head office in India for pricing, order execution, delivery, and technical support.
  • Establish and manage a local network of agents, partners, and distributors.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and recommend go-to-market strategies.
  • Track sales KPIs, manage forecasts, and report regularly to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering. MBA in International Business or Marketing is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 8–12 years of B2B industrial sales experience, preferably in DIP, HDPE, GRP, or other pipe systems.
  • Experience in European infrastructure markets, especially in water utilities, civil infrastructure, or municipal projects.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Italian and/or another European language (e.g., French, Spanish) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with European standards (e.g., EN 545, ISO 2531) and certification processes for DIP.
  • Understanding of public procurement processes in Italy and EU countries.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Technical understanding of pipe systems and project execution.
  • Ability to work independently in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and online tender platforms.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in Italy or the EU.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the European region.
  • Strong industry network in water, infrastructure, or municipal supply chains is an advantage.
