WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The successful candidate for the Country Regulatory Affairs Lead position will be instrumental in navigating the complex regulatory landscape for BASF. This role involves serving as the primary liaison between the company and regulatory institutions, ensuring compliance with local guidelines and fostering strong relationships within the industry. You will oversee the registration processes, manage a dedicated regulatory team, and drive strategic initiatives that align with BASF's mission. This position requires a proactive approach to monitoring regulatory developments and translating them into actionable strategies. Occasional travel may be required to engage with stakeholders and participate in industry events.

Duties will include the following:

  • Align operations with BASF's vision, mission, and policies.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and convert them into actionable responses.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regulatory institutions.
  • Lead and manage the local regulatory team, including training and performance agreements.
  • Prepare and submit national registration dossiers in accordance with guidelines, ensuring timely submissions.
  • Maintain existing registrations and manage official correspondence for regulatory project planning.
  • Ensure label content complies with branding guidelines and local regulations.
  • Oversee regulatory budgets and engage with local teams to achieve national targets.
  • Collaborate with APD/REO and represent local interests in regulatory meetings.
  • Support advocacy activities and participate in local associations regarding regulatory issues.
WHAT YOU OFFER
