About the role

As a Country Product Manager at KingMakers, your mission is to ensure our product succeeds in your market by deeply understanding local customers, regulations, and competitors. You act as the voice of the market, aligning local insights with our global product strategy.

While you won’t directly manage product teams, you’ll play a key role in influencing central teams to deliver market-relevant solutions. You’ll own the country-specific product goals and make sure everything we build, from features to overall experience , truly fits the needs of your audience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own and drive the country-level product goals and KPIs, ensuring the success of the product in-market.
  • Build a deep understanding of the market landscape—including customer behavior, local competitors, regulatory requirements, and operational constraints.
  • Identify local product gaps, pain points, and opportunities across areas such as payments, KYC, gaming content, mobile, and user experience.
  • Serve as the key liaison between the country and central teams (Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics), advocating for market-specific requirements and priorities.
  • Influence the central roadmap to reflect the needs of the country, ensuring timely delivery of local features and adaptations.
  • Monitor and assess the product’s in-market performance, escalating issues and proposing solutions proactively.
  • Partner with commercial, operations, and compliance teams to ensure end-to-end readiness for launches and optimizations.
  • Develop business cases, competitive benchmarks, and market research to support prioritization and alignment.
  • Lead strategic initiatives for the country—e.g., launching new verticals, integrating new payment providers, adapting features for regulatory compliance.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, strategy, or operations, ideally in a digital, tech, or gaming company.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally to deliver impactful product changes.
  • Strong familiarity with the local market, user behavior, and digital product expectations

Skills, knowledge and abilities:

  • Excellent strategic thinking with strong analytical and execution skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority, collaborating across distributed product and tech teams.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills—comfortable advocating for the country’s needs at all levels.
  • Customer-obsessed mindset and passion for delivering outstanding user experiences.
  • Knowledge of relevant product areas such as payments, onboarding, promotions, gaming, or mobile UX is highly desirable.
