As a Counter Storeman - electrical, reporting to the Group Leader in the Assembly Department, you will fulfill the necessary requirements within the department to meet the company’s objectives.
Key Job Functions
- Receiving goods from stores and placing them safely until dispatched to the production line.
- Issuing and retrieving electrical materials to and from production staff.
- Responsible for correct labeling and placement of electrical materials within the store.
- Ensure all locations are labeled correctly.
- Maintain electrical material issuing and retrieving logs.
- Handle administration and capture allocations between yourself and the store stock controller.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum: NQF Level 2 (Grade 10).
- Internal team members: NQF Level 2 (Grade 10) and/or R&C competency certificate.
- Ideally: NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) or N3 Electrical qualification.
- Experience in a related field such as store control.
- Experience working with, understanding, and receiving/dispatching electrical materials.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance records.
- Able to work weekends and overtime.
- Thorough understanding of the company's quality statement.
- Strong attention to detail and process-driven.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently.
