Key Responsibilities
Customer Assistance :
- Engage with walk-in clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on water treatment products and solutions.
- Answer technical queries and provide recommendations based on customer requirements.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by offering prompt and professional service.
Sales and Order Processing :
- Process sales transactions efficiently using IQ Retail software.
- Generate accurate invoices, quotations, and delivery notes for customers.
- Upsell and cross-sell related products to maximize sales opportunities.
Technical Support :
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of water treatment products, systems, and technologies to assist clients effectively.
- Provide basic troubleshooting advice and recommend appropriate products or services for technical issues.
- Liaise with the technical team for more complex customer needs or product customization.
Inventory and Stock Management :
- Monitor stock levels and notify the procurement team of low inventory items.
- Assist with stock-taking, receiving, and organizing inventory on the sales floor.
- Ensure proper display of products to promote sales.
Operational Efficiency :
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple client requests simultaneously.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and achieve sales targets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
Administrative Duties :
- Maintain accurate client records and update customer databases as needed.
- Assist in generating daily sales reports using IQ Retail software.
- Handle returns and exchanges in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education :
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification in water treatment or a related field is a plus).
Experience :
- Proven experience in counter sales or customer service, preferably in the water treatment industry.
- Familiarity with IQ Retail software or similar point-of-sale systems.
Technical Skills :
- Basic understanding of water treatment systems and products.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to clients in a clear and approachable manner.
Soft Skills :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Physical and Behavioral Attributes :
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and handling light to moderate lifting.

Salary and Benefits
Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. 13K – 15K Gross.
