Job description

Selling our client's parts and meeting customer needs while obtaining orders from existing or potential customers. Resolve all customer queries to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

  • South Africans and those living in the area will be preferred

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12.
  • Certificate / Diploma in Business Administration / Logistics or related (Advantageous).
Experience:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proactivity and self-direction.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • MS Office (Intermediate level).
Legal:
  • Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
  • Clear security screening record.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Excellence / Service Delivery:
  • Ensure the company's Safe Work and ISO related procedures are maintained.
  • Maintain quality standards at your area of responsibility. Check quality of product received from the warehouse prior to handing over to customers.
  • Identify correct customer accounts and provide accurate invoices.
  • Capture customer orders immediately once received and advise on availability and collection time.
  • Assist warehouse team in picking parts to support customer demand.
  • Provide quick and efficient service to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to customer queries and provide parts-related information effectively.
  • Ensure responses to new and cash sale customers include RFI check sheet completion (Serial number, location of the product).
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding relevant policies and procedures.
  • Follow up on all quotes not converted to sales to understand reasons.
  • Follow up on backorders with relevant team members to ensure firm ETA dates for customers.
  • Ensure monthly sales targets are met to achieve commission as per Group policy.
  • Work standby and overtime as requested.
