Job description

Our client based in Cape Town is regarded as one of the biggest suppliers of products, components, parts, and equipment to the South African automotive market. They are currently seeking an experienced Counterpart Salesman to join their branch in Worcester. The Counterpart Salesman will be the key point of contact for customers, handling inquiries related to product specifications, quotations, order intake, delivery, and other related queries.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet customers and process orders and payments.
• Assist customers with queries and provide solutions promptly.
• Possess excellent product knowledge to inform customers and increase sales.
• Follow up on orders to prevent delays and customer frustration.
• Update the product inventory regularly.
• Maintain a clean and organized customer area during quiet times.
• Ensure each customer leaves satisfied.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry and in a similar role.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
