Job description

We're on the lookout for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-driven Warranty Clerk to become a key part of our dynamic service team in the motor industry. In this pivotal role, you'll take charge of managing warranty claims, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and working closely with the Workshop Manager to keep all warranty operations running seamlessly and efficiently. POSITION INFO :

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process and manage warranty claims according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Invoice and cost job cards daily to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Maintain warranty parts and ensure proper documentation.
  • Submit goodwill claims for customer repairs outside standard warranty parameters.
  • Prepare and manage weekend and month-end reports.
  • Track and update daily "work in progress" summaries for the service team.
  • Communicate effectively with head office, internal departments, and external stakeholders.
  • Occasionally provide relief for the service advisor when needed.
  • Comply with all company service department procedures and quality standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Experience : 2+years of experience in a warranty clerkposition in the Automotive Industry
  • Systems Knowledge : Evolve / IAL experience will be beneficial.
