Duties:

• Preparing and analyzing cost reports, cost forecasts, and variance analyses
• Monitoring inventory and production costs, and identifying areas for savings
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure analysis
• Developing and maintaining cost control systems
• Providing financial input into operational and strategic decisions
• Assisting with month-end closing and performance reporting
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant industry regulations

Education and experience:

• BCom Accounting
• AT least 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Mining industry experience is essential
