Cost and Management Accountant

This position will provide preference to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements.

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

A well-known organisation in the food industry is an established market leader in the Southern Africa airline catering industry, and they are seeking to employ an experienced Cost and Management Accountant.

Position Overview:

The purpose of Cost and Management Accounting is to provide information to managers that will help them to plan activities (e.g., plan number of units to produce this year) and make decisions regarding activities (e.g., purchase materials required for production).

Minimum Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant / CIMA.

Required Skills and Experiences:

• 5 Years’ Experience as Cost and Management Accountant or similar.
• At least 3 years of People leadership experience as the Senior Cost and Management Accountant will be managing 3 people in the team.
• Financial Accounting experience.
• Complicated Management accountants and Balance sheet experience.
• Procurement and Purchasing experience needed.
• Import Costing – Understanding of foreign currency purchases.
• Costing Experience with experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
• Experience in Import and export Cost costing, production costing, and stock costing.
• Advanced experience in Excel and SAP is a must.
