Cost Accountant - Steel Industry

RPO Recruitment's client is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their team in Pretoria, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting processes and at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the steel or manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage raw material procurement cost analysis
2. Oversee production costing and maintain accurate bill of materials
3. Perform detailed sales costing and profitability analysis
4. Support operational efficiency through cost control initiatives

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a cost accounting role
2. Strong understanding of production and bill of materials
3. Experience with raw material procurement and sales costing
4. Industry experience in steel or manufacturing is advantageous
