Are you a meticulous and results-driven Cost and Management Accountant with a passion for efficiency, accuracy, and strategic insights? We're looking for you!

About the Company

A leading JSE-listed manufacturer based in Pretoria West with operations across Africa and a strong presence in the global market is expanding their Pretoria team. They are seeking a Cost and Management Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities
  1. Take ownership of the manufacture order process, driving material and labour costing from initiation to execution.
  2. Oversee Work-in-Progress (WIP) management, ensuring seamless ERP transaction flow, physical movement, and stock accuracy.
  3. Lead and improve perpetual stock count processes across warehouse environments.
  4. Conduct Quoted vs Actual Cost analyses and monitor gross profit margins for ongoing improvements.
  5. Manage the Finished Goods Contingency Warehouse to maintain optimal stock levels.
  6. Drive final project costing reviews, ensuring project profitability and reporting accuracy.
  7. Act as a key liaison between Finance and Operations, streamlining processes and resolving queries effectively.
  8. Recommend and implement cost-saving strategies and operational efficiencies.
  9. Support statutory submissions, including calculations and reconciliations.
  10. Finalize monthly reconciliations in coordination with the finance team.
  11. Assist with internal and external audits, providing required documentation and resolving issues.
  12. Take ownership of various ad-hoc financial projects and functions.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, or Finance.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years' relevant experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  3. Strong SAP experience.
