Placements24 is recruiting a Cost Accountant for a prominent manufacturing firm in Nelspruit. The role involves analyzing production costs, establishing standard costs and developing variance analyses to drive efficiency and profitability.

The position supports operational management with accurate cost data in a hybrid work setting, combining remote tasks with in-office collaboration. You will work with ERP systems, perform cost modeling, and contribute to budgets and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CIMA or ACCA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
• Cost modeling and budgeting experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work setting.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge is a plus.
