Cost Accountant

A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12) and a relevant tertiary qualification in finance and / or costing.

At least 3 - 4 years experience in costing with retail concern.

Experience using ERP systems.

Experience using Sage X3 would be advantageous.

• Experience using Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.

Fluent in Afrikaans and English.

Responsibilities:

Product costing and tooling inventory reporting and maintenance, compare actual costs to estimates and analyse any variances.

Preparation of cost estimates / quotes for new products / customers and product changes.

Update BOMs as necessary.

Assist with stock counts.

Assist with recons / schedules.

Prepare accurate records for old and new product costings.

Maintain inventory and products.

Draw audit information on a continuous basis.
