Summary:

Calling all Cost Accountants in the North West!

Position Info: Responsibilities:

• Full management accounting of mining sections and capital functions.
• Control of the budget vs. actual expenditure.
• Update and distribute daily cost reports, including stores and overtime cost movements.
• Attend Section Manager and Mine Manager meetings on the mine.
• Present capital results and cash flow to the Manager and Section Engineers.
• Present asset register and depreciation calculations to the Head of Department.
• Compile weekly forecasts and perform cost and capital analysis for weekly production meetings.
• Create monthly review presentations for mining and capital, including refreshable reports and graphs analysis.
• Ensure outstanding orders are minimal.
• Manage production costs according to mining standards.
• Maintain and update mining standards regularly.

Qualifications:

• Financial Accounting or Cost and Management Accounting qualification.
• Experience in the Mining Industry.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience.
• CA(SA) qualification with 5-8 years' experience.
