ALX Africa is looking for an experienced facilitator to take on the role of Corporate Training Specialist.

This role will involve developing, curating and delivering both technical and non-technical workshops to corporate clients.

The candidate should ideally be located close to Johannesburg or Cape Town, South Africa. These workshops will span across an array of topics such as Data Analytics, AI, and Data Science.

A large part of the role would be to augment existing material to serve the purpose and audience in the workshops.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Travel to present in-person workshops - also internationally if required.
  2. Design and customize workshop content to meet specific client needs.
  3. Adapt existing course materials to create impactful learning experiences.
  4. Deliver technical concepts (Data Analytics, AI, and Data Science) in accessible ways.
  5. Confidently engage with C-suite and senior leadership during workshop sessions.
  6. Create supplementary learning materials that enhance core content.
  7. Gather and incorporate feedback to continuously improve workshop quality.
  8. Interact with our sales and brand teams to align on how workshops are promoted.
  9. Mentor and oversee junior facilitators where necessary.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS - ESSENTIAL

  1. 3-5 years experience building, leading and facilitating workshops.
  2. 2-3 years of experience working with corporate clients in the training space, OR experience at a corporate institution and a thorough understanding of the hurdles for rolling out training and workshops.
  3. Engaging personality, confident in interactions with senior-level leadership.
  4. Tertiary degree, ideally from a quantitative background and knowledge in Data Science, Analytics, and AI with both in-person and virtual training delivery.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS - PREFERABLE

  1. Experience adapting curriculum to different learning contexts.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence.
