Job description

Our department is in search of a Corporate DC Team Leader to join the Corporate DC Team. The incumbent will act in a departmental leadership role and will report to the Online DC Manager.

Our ideal candidate will have the ability to align with the company vision, be self-motivated and actively involved in overseeing the end-to-end processes in the applicable area of responsibility. In addition, the successful candidate should have the high energy levels required for this fast-paced, exciting and dynamic retail environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Corporate DC departmental leadership
  • Coordinate with H/O Corporate department, DC team, online and stores.
  • Manage relationships with service providers and all stakeholders.
  • Track progress, manage expectations and ensure stakeholders’ requirements are delivered.
  • Act speedily to resolve problems, queries, and complaints.
  • Process optimisation, continuous improvements, implementation and monitoring
  • Ensure compliance to company policies and Corporate Sales business processes.
  • Ensure that orders are accurately and timeously captured on relevant platform/system.
  • Stock management and control of the stock consolidations process from suppliers, DC and stores.
  • Plan and co-ordinate accurate Picking, packing, and shipping on time, all orders from corporate sales and online.
  • Ongoing training and developing of the team members.
  • Act in an ethical, transparent and moral manner
  • Responsible for accurate monthly performance reports
  • Administration

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Retail and planning/logistics experience would be advantageous.
