Purpose: The Core Solutions & Architecture Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the design, development, and implementation of the core technological solutions and architectural frameworks within an organization. This role combines expertise in systems architecture, enterprise solutions, and core network systems to ensure that the organization's infrastructure and technology solutions align with its strategic goals.

The Core Solution and Architecture Manager works to create scalable, robust, and secure architectural solutions, while also managing teams of architects and technical professionals to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience: 8+ years of experience in core network management, systems architecture, or enterprise solution design. At least 5 years of leadership or managerial experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing architecture teams and leading cross-functional projects.

Solid understanding of 3G, 4G, and 5G end-to-end Architecture including Core Network, Radio Access Network, Billing Subsystems, and VAS systems. Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale, complex Core network systems.

Technical Skills

1. Experience within the GSM / UMTS / LTE Core Networks field with focus on the Circuit Switched, Packet Switched and IMS network elements in design and architecture role
2. In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
3. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration with core network systems
4. Expertise in network architecture, routing, switching, and security protocols
5. Proficiency in microservices, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and distributed systems
6. Extensive knowledge of Core Network architecture and related protocols (SIGTRAN, SS7, Diameter, SIP) and technologies (VoIP, Wi-Fi, GPRS / WCDMA / 5G, NFV / CNF)
7. Experience with core network performance management and optimization
