Core Delivery Manager

Purpose: The Core Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery of core network and infrastructure projects, systems, or services. This role focuses on managing the end-to-end process of deploying and implementing solutions, from initial planning to final delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience:

1. 8+ years of experience in project or delivery management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role overseeing core network or infrastructure delivery
2. Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects or technology implementations
3. Experience with core network technologies, systems integration, or enterprise services
4. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and frameworks
5. Solid understanding of 3G, 4G and 5G end-to-end Architecture including Core Network, Radio Access Network, Billing Subsystems and VAS systems

Technical Skills:

1. Experience within the GSM / UMTS / LTE Core Networks field with focus on the Circuit Switched, Packet Switched and IMS network elements in delivery role
2. Extensive knowledge of Core Network architecture and related interface protocols (SIGTRAN, SS7 signalling, packet networks, SIP, VoIP, Wi-Fi, GPRS / WCDMA / 5G, NFV / CNF)
3. Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar tools)
4. Proficiency in risk management, quality assurance, and vendor management

Desired Skills:

1. PMP, Prince2, or other project management certifications
2. Experience with contract management and vendor negotiations
3. Strong knowledge of service delivery processes and frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
4. Familiarity with network design, implementation, and operational support processes
