Take ownership for sales management

The Cordant Sales Manager is responsible for new business development, account acquisition, and growth across a defined territory in the Africa Market, for our Enterprise Cordant Reliability Solutions & Asset Performance Management offerings.

With a solid understanding of Enterprise Asset Performance Management & a proven track record of selling this solution to key clients in the region, responsibilities include vertical penetration strategies, prospecting, sales pipeline management, account analysis, and reporting.

Key responsibilities include

  • Identifying EAPM opportunities within existing clients
  • Leveraging your network to introduce our solutions to new clients
  • Seeking new business opportunities through prospecting and industry research
  • Building relationships with prospects & industry stakeholders
  • Responding to inbound requests and managing leads
  • Maintaining relationships with current clients and exploring new opportunities
  • Acting as the liaison for key clients and managing their questions or concerns
  • Consulting with clients on business issues and solutions
  • Preparing reports on client projects and delivery
  • Extending existing client relationships through account management
  • Forecasting sales activity and revenue in Salesforce
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to meet regional budgets
  • Delivering strategic sales presentations and proposals
  • Managing complex sales cycles involving our Reliability Engineering portfolio
  • Nurturing clients within the sales cycle to close deals
  • Organizing presentations and maintaining ongoing contact with potential clients
  • Preparing bids and contracts for services and solutions

Qualifications for success

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Software from an accredited university
  • Certificates in Maintenance & Reliability from accredited institutes
  • Proven success in selling Reliability Solutions and EAPM Software
  • 5+ years of experience in APM sales in the Africa region
  • 3+ years of technical experience in Reliability and Asset Management
  • Experience managing the entire sales cycle, especially in closing complex sales
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing key customers and expanding wallet share
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
