Coordinator: Site HR Operations

Job Purpose: Responsible for the delivery of HR services, products, and systems. Work in liaison with business partners, managers, employees, and external organizations as required. Focused on improving service delivery quality by streamlining processes and services whilst achieving a cost-effective position.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work time data collection: attendance, absence, holidays, overtime, night hours, bonus.
  2. Onboarding for new employees on HR processes.
  3. First point of contact for employee inquiries.
  4. Hiring process documentation and preparing data for contracts.
  5. Transmission of documents to managers (new employees + change).
  6. Ensure inquiries are answered professionally and efficiently.
  7. Identify and verify employee entitlements.
  8. Maintain data accuracy and deliver accurate customer answers.
  9. Provide friendly, efficient, and effective service to customers.
  10. Escalate or redirect inquiries if required.
  11. Document inquiries and support guidance on 'Employee' self-service transactions.
  12. Create tickets and enter data into systems (e.g., Case Management system).
  13. Deliver clear, concise, and timely communication.
  14. Execute HR Internal Controls.
  15. Provide HR process advice to employees and managers.
  16. Support HR activities related to employee changes and terminations.
  17. Coordinate with Centers of Excellence for HR solutions.
  18. Support day-to-day administrative tasks, including reports and data entry.
  19. Understand and work with key HR concepts, processes, methods, and tools.
  20. Use HR systems like Kenexa and MSS/ESS to support procedures and cases.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Matric; Graduate degree and HR certification are desirable.
  • 1-2 years experience in administration or entry-level HR role.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, etc.
  • Knowledge of labor law is desirable.
