Job Summary

The Coordinator of Youth Mission and Service Experiences is responsible for overseeing middle school and high school youth in mission and service experiences.

The Coordinator will provide input and hands-on oversight of youth service events aimed at building relationships, identify and supervise mission projects including the summer youth mission trip.

The position requires approximately 10 hours per month, with most duties involving on-site commitments, though some tasks can be completed remotely.

Responsibilities

1. Cultivate relationships with Junior High and High School youth.
2. Initiate external connection points with youth quarterly (attend activities, Starbucks outings, spontaneous special outings).
3. Coordinate opportunities for service hours.
4. Recruit youth advisors.
5. Coordinate annual Youth Sunday worship and mission trip fundraisers.
6. Provide primary leadership for the annual group mission trip and participate in the trip.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience working with youth aged 12-18.
• CPR and First Aid certification (certified or willing to obtain).
• Safe Space training will be required and provided.
• Passion for youth ministry and mission work.
