Job summary

A leading telecommunications company in South Africa is seeking a skilled professional to coordinate board activities and manage statutory records. The ideal candidate must have a relevant degree and 2-4 years of experience in a related field, preferably with listed companies. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to foster relationships across various stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • A relevant 3-year degree in Commerce, Economics, or Law.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Experience with listed companies is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate meetings: send notices, prepare agendas, collate submissions, and record proceedings.
  • Manage CIPC & administration: file statutory records, prepare documents for the Registrar of Companies.
  • Track resolutions: maintain a register of resolutions and oversee approval processes.
  • Handle Directors' Fees & Expense Claims: maintain records, liaise with finance, ensure timely payments.
  • Manage Online Boardbooks: administer meeting packs, manage access, liaise with service providers.
  • Coordinate Travel & Accommodation: process requisitions, liaise with travel agents, ensure international roaming.
  • Perform ad-hoc functions: support projects, update contact lists, assist with governance trends, and schedule development sessions.
