Job summary

Clicks Group currently seeks a Maintenance Technician for the Centurion Distribution Centre. The role focuses on installation, maintenance, and support of material-handling equipment, DC systems, and conveyors.

Responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance, automation system upkeep, and coordinating with suppliers and DC management to ensure operational readiness. A Matric plus a Mechatronics qualification and a valid licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• A National Diploma or BTech in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent NQF diploma is preferred.
• Valid driver's licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of material-handling equipment, electrical and DC systems and conveyors.
• Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment through preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Configure and maintain automation systems used in logistics.
• Manage inventory of tools and spares including forklifts and RF scanners.
• Engage with suppliers and communicate changes to DC management.
