Job summary

A leading staffing agency is seeking a Conveyancing Secretary in Sandton to manage legal documentation for property transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property law, proficient use of Microsoft Office, and at least three years of relevant experience. The role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of meeting tight deadlines while maintaining accurate records and liaising effectively with various stakeholders. Salary offered ranges between R30,000 and R37,000 per month. Immediate start is preferred, with regular hours from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of industry relevant experience.
  • Strong legal background within the property or conveyancing sector.
  • Experience with Nedbank Bond processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting and preparing legal documents, including sale agreements and bond documents.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, banks, and municipalities.
  • Managing timelines and ensuring compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
  • Handling Deeds Office processes, including tracking lodgements and registrations.
  • Collecting and verifying FICA documentation.
  • Calculating costs and preparing financial statements related to property transactions.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and correspondence.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to perform well under pressure
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience with Nedbank Bond processes (advantageous)

  • Monday to Friday : 08 : 00 16 : 30
