Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Conveyancer and Property Law Specialist to manage our property legal services in Upington. You will oversee transfers, bond registrations, and cancellations, coordinating with clients, banks, and the Deeds Office to ensure accurate, timely completions.

The ideal candidate is an Admitted Conveyancer with 5+ years post-qualification experience, strong knowledge of Deeds Registries Act and sectional titles, and the ability to work under tight deadlines

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Conveyancer and Property Law Specialist to manage their property legal services in Upington . This role is critical for overseeing all aspects of property transfers, bond registrations, and cancellations, ensuring precision and compliance with legal requirements. You will be the primary point of contact for clients navigating complex property transactions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of conveyancing procedures and a commitment to delivering efficient and professional service within the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the full spectrum of conveyancing transactions, including property sales, purchases, and mortgage bond registrations.
• Draft, review, and finalize all necessary legal documentation for property transfers and registrations.
• Liaise with clients, financial institutions, estate agents, and the Deeds Office to ensure smooth transaction processes.
• Provide expert legal advice on property law matters, including sectional title schemes and township development.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant property legislation and Deeds Registry requirements.
• Manage and resolve any challenges or disputes that may arise during the conveyancing process.

Requirements

• Admitted Conveyancer with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in property law and conveyancing.
• Proven track record of successfully managing a high volume of property transfers and bond registrations.
• In-depth knowledge of the Deeds Registries Act, Sectional Titles Act, and other relevant property legislation.
• Strong understanding of financial aspects of property transactions and liaising with financial institutions.
