Placements24 is seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to contribute to critical industrial projects in Richards Bay. You will design, develop, implement, and maintain PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA systems to optimise plant operations.

You will work with Siemens and Rockwell platforms, align with Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP networks, and collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to enhance safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Proficiency with major PLC platforms (Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley).
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission PLCs and DCS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

• Implement and troubleshoot industrial automation networks and communication protocols.
