Qualifications

• 6+ years of C&I design experience, with 4 years in Oil & Gas.
• Registered as a professional engineer with ECSA.

Your responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to fulfill the job as summarized below, but not limited to:

• Execution of the C&I scope on EPC and EPCM projects.
• Work with minimal supervision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to the project schedule and allocated budget.
• Liaise with other engineering disciplines and support departments to ensure alignment.
• Liaise with clients and vendors to ensure alignment.
• Develop communication design for control systems and data networks.
• Develop the control system design for the project, including control narratives and supporting documents for control and shutdown systems.

Your profile

The candidate must possess a BSc / B.Eng. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and be registered as a professional engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).

The candidate must have experience in:

• At least 6 years of specific C&I design experience, with a minimum of 4 years in the Oil & Gas environment.
• Knowledge of and understanding of SABS / IEC standards.
