Job summary

MECS is seeking a Contracts Specialist with strong supply chain, procurement and contract management experience for a fixed-term engagement in Centurion. The role requires meticulous contract oversight, supplier negotiation and risk mitigation to protect project interests.

You will oversee all contractual agreements, coordinate with procurement, legal and operations, ensure policy compliance, and maintain contract records in ERP systems (SAP/Coupa), supporting delivery during the 8‑month

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with relevant experience required.
• Certificate - First Line Management desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant supply chain, procurement or contract management experience.
• MS Office proficiency required.
• Experience with ERP or cloud-based procurement solutions (SAP/Coupa) preferred.

Contract position - 8 months
Location - Centurion

Duties & Responsibilities

The Contracts Specialist will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all contractual agreements and relationships within the organization. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of contract management principles.
