Position Overview

We are seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee contract administration, cost management, and project execution within the construction and renewable energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contract Management: Ensure compliance, handle negotiations, variations, and legal processes.
2. Review EPC Contracts: Align design, construction, and specifications with client expectations.
3. Sub-contractor Management & Claims Processes: Manage sub-contractor relationships and claims processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contractual obligations.
4. Supplier Agreements: Oversee drafting and negotiation to ensure timely delivery, compliance, and performance.
5. Project & Cost Control: Develop budgets, monitor costs, identify savings, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while adhering to local and international regulations.
6. Procurement & Supplier Coordination: Source materials, manage suppliers, and optimize costs.
7. Project Execution & Risk Management: Oversee teams, ensure quality, mitigate risks, and support the Project Manager in aligning project programs with schedules.
8. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting: Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and senior management; review project reports on budgets and timelines and conduct post-mortems for performance analysis.
9. Training & Development: Mentor junior staff and drive professional growth.

Requirements

1. 5+ years in project management, quantity surveying, or a related role.
2. Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction / Project Management, or similar.
3. Expertise in JBCC, FIDIC, EPC contracts, cost control, procurement, and compliance.
4. Solar PV & electrical knowledge (advantageous).
5. Strong leadership, financial management, and risk assessment skills.
6. Proficiency in MS Excel & project management software.
