Job summary

Discovery Limited is seeking a Legal Operations Paralegal to coordinate post-signature contract management, monitor obligations and maintain legal records. You will support reporting and drafting of routine documents, collaborating with Legal, Operations and external partners to ensure deadlines and evidence are managed timeously.

The role emphasises governance, documentation control, and process improvements within Discovery Green and the wider group, with a focus on compliance and data

Qualifications

• Education: recognised paralegal, legal administration or contract-management qualification, or LLB/BCom Law/BA Law or equivalent.
• Experience may be considered in conjunction with a formal paralegal qualification.
• Additional certification in contract management, compliance, project management or legal operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contract lifecycle and obligation management across power purchase and energy supply agreements.
• Act as liaison between Legal, Operations and stakeholders to ensure timely handover of transactions.
• Maintain accurate matter and contract records and compile routine legal/compliance documents.
• Produce periodic status reports and dashboards showing current, overdue and high-risk items.
• Identify process improvements and support automation in legal operations.
