Job brief

The Contract Recruiter will play a critical role in supporting our talent acquisition efforts by managing the end-to-end recruitment process for a high volume of requisitions. This 2-3 month contract position will focus on sourcing, screening, and placing qualified candidates to meet the staffing needs of our Managed Services Provider support operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized recruiter with experience in high-volume hiring, preferably in IT or managed services, who can hit the ground running and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and Attraction: Utilize job boards, social media (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed), and other sourcing channels to identify and attract top talent for roles across technical, administrative, and client-facing positions.
  • Candidate Screening: Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidate qualifications to ensure alignment with job requirements and company culture.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand requisition needs, define job specifications, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a seamless and timely process.
  • Candidate Experience: Maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback to ensure a positive experience.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a talent pipeline for recurring or high-demand roles, anticipating future hiring needs within the assignment period.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and company policies, maintaining accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Reporting: Provide weekly updates on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate sourcing channels, and offer acceptance rates.


Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in IT, managed services, or a high-volume hiring environment.
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Must be available to start immediately
  • Daily 2x stand-ups and in-office Wednesdays required
  • Skills:
    • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously (10-15+ requisitions at a time).
    • Strong sourcing skills using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other job boards.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and hiring managers.
    • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Manatal, Greenhouse, Ashby, or similar).
    • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT roles (e.g., helpdesk, network engineers, project managers) is a plus.
    • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
