The Contract Product Management Specialist - Security is a seasoned subject matter expert regarding security services offered, responsible for managing the lifecycle of a contract and managing the commercial aspects for the security practices contracts.
This role brings knowledge of a product and service to support the sales organization and NTT Data clients with a strong understanding of the organization thereby ensuring that their crafted solution(s) meet client requirements, and all back-office processes are followed.
The role has a commercial, reporting and process focus.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieves set and agreed new and renewal sales to meet specified financial goals.
- Develops process to ease processing of new and renewals in the organization.
- Influences and guides the Sales team to ensure that they are equipped to close deals that involve their services.
- Engages with and offers support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure the contract’s success.
- Analyzes product & contract data to establish trends and insights using internal and external sources.
- Facilitates the conversion of knowledge and ideas into new or improved profitability, processes and services.
- Work with the Finance department to determine the appropriateness of pricing of existing and new investments strategies.
- Provides product knowledge input assistance for compiling client proposals.
- Proactive reporting of renewals status as well as reporting on contract profitability.
- Recommends product enhancements and updates to identify new business opportunities.
- Involvement in product development life cycle to understand how new products or new product features will impact both the end user and the client facing areas that directly support end users.
- Monitor sales certifications on strategic vendors, to help understand the broader value proposition to enable upsell on renewals.
- Full understanding of practice RMS and Global Services offerings and positioning.
- Assistance with first line commercials/costings as well as assistance in driving vendor growth.
- Working closely with Practice Management on key priorities related to services.
- Understanding SLA's between NTT DATA and client.
- Transition contract migration from ISPIC system to SAP ERP.
Knowledge and Attributes:
- Seasoned knowledge of market segments and product portfolio categories.
- Seasoned knowledge of product lifecycles and technology solutions.
- Demonstrate financial awareness and commercial acumen.
- Possesses strategic thinking skills with sound presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Seasoned problem analysis and solution formulation capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication ability.
- Seasoned understanding of the organization's transformation and change programs.
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of the technologies related to product areas.
- Displays an astute mind-set with critical thinking ability.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business advantageous.
Required Experience:
- Seasoned experience in a similar position.
- Seasoned experience gained within the technology industry.
- Seasoned track record managing contracts and commercials.
- SAP and Oracle ERP experience required.
- Understanding of NTT DATA systems and workflows.
