YOUR ROLE

We are looking for CL Operations Manager: Facilities to oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, manage service providers and the level of service they are responsible for.

Manage operations budget and procurement procedure and policies. This role is also responsible to ensure compliance in terms of the OHS act of South Africa.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

1. Operations: Assist and support with the developing and implementation of warehouse policies and procedures, including procurement and budget management, quality control, and equipment maintenance in line with CEVA support operations.
2. Coordinate with other departments, including Procurement, Finance, and operations, to ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
3. Manage the physical layout of the warehouse, including organizing and maintaining storage areas and optimizing space utilization.
4. Calculate resource requirements for the Facility.
5. Coordinate temporary staff requirements in line with approved Facility plan.
6. Propose cost reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity.
7. Align labour costings with the budget and timesheets.
8. Keep financial and non-financial records.
9. Manage monthly billing for all customers, perform analysis and forecasting.
10. Review direct operating expenses and ensure efficiency.
11. Create purchase orders on the required system as required by policy and inline with budget.
12. Invoicing Customers based on contractual requirements.
13. Manage labour service provider and allocation of labour hours.
14. Ensure all service providers adhere to contracts.
15. Prepare Facility month end journals to ensure all cost allocated accurately.
16. Prepare cost variance analysis.
17. Process all Facility invoices for payment and maintain a real-time overview of expenses versus budget.
18. Prepare and present reports / dashboards on trends, issues and solutions.
19. Prepare weekly review of all financial aspects to management.

Contract management:

1. Manage and maintain all service providers' contracts.
2. Management all service providers SLA's and yearly renewals.
3. Meeting with the services providers monthly.
4. Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning contracts.
5. Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress.
6. Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters.
7. Monitor contracts and move forward with closeout, extension or renewal according to what is best for the company.
8. Solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.

Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field.

Specialist Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory management, and logistics operations.

At least 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field.

Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.

Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
