A premium, design-led lifestyle and homeware brand with an international presence is seeking a creative and versatile Content Writer to join their Cape Town-based creative studio. You'll help bring artful products to life through meaningful words, aligned with a brand celebrated for its artistic aesthetic and sculptural style.

Job details

As the voice behind the brand, youll be responsible for shaping customer perceptions and inspiring engagement across:

  • Website: Craft SEO-driven, emotive product descriptions, landing pages, and blog content.
  • Email Campaigns: Write compelling e-commerce newsletters that connect with local and global audiences.
  • Social Media: Collaborate with the content and design teams to script on-brand captions and storytelling pieces.
  • Packaging & In-Store: Develop POS messaging and packaging copy that reflects the artistic value of every item.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Support seasonal and product launch campaigns with fresh copy and strategic messaging.

Requirements

  • A degree/diploma in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or similar.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in a content/copywriting roleideally within retail, design, e-commerce, or luxury lifestyle sectors.
  • A strong, relevant portfolio that includes product descriptions, campaign copy, and/or brand storytelling.
  • Strong understanding of tone-of-voice, branding, and SEO principles.
  • Ability to collaborate with designers, marketers, and merchandisers with ease.
  • High attention to detail, a curious mind, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
