Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for turning ideas into engaging content that resonates globally?

Jendamark Automation is seeking a dynamic Content Creator & Podcast Producer to join our team. You will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives, producing high-quality video content, and driving audience engagement primarily on LinkedIn and YouTube with a focus on reaching international audiences.

Basic Requirements :

• Formal Tertiary education : Grade 12
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Digital Media / Media Studies, Graphic Design)

Languages :

• English – Read, write and speak (required)
• Afrikaans – Read, write and speak (optional)

Drivers Licence : Code 8 (required)

Job Objectives :

• Create captivating content : Develop and produce engaging video content, including the Tech People Talk podcast, Machine Monday short-form videos, and social media content primarily for LinkedIn and YouTube with a strong emphasis on reaching international audiences.
• Build our brand : Elevate the Director’s personal brand through strategic social media campaigns and content creation on LinkedIn and YouTube, targeting an international audience.
• Drive audience growth : Analyze social media performance on LinkedIn and YouTube, identify trends, and optimise content for maximum impact with a global focus.
• Collaborate and innovate : Work closely with the team to brainstorm new content ideas that resonate with international audiences and ensure alignment with company goals.

Skills and Competencies :

• Proven experience in video editing, content creation, and social media management with a strong focus on LinkedIn and YouTube, and a demonstrated ability to reach international audiences.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create engaging content for LinkedIn and YouTube that resonates with a global audience.
• Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills with the ability to adapt content for different cultural and linguistic contexts.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro) and social media platforms, with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn and YouTube, and a demonstrated ability to manage international audiences.
• Experience with Instagram and TikTok (advantageous).
• A passion for the manufacturing industry and a keen understanding of global markets.
• Being able to think and work independently to get the job done autonomously.
