Job summary

Old Mutual invites applications for a Sales Advisor role delivering product advice to a defined market in South Africa. You will provide high-quality customer service, identify opportunities to grow business and support client retention.

Key duties include CRM data entry, prospecting, and relationship management while ensuring FAIS compliance and accurate presentations to decision-makers. A valid driver’s license and 3+ years in sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid Driver's licence and Own Car
• FAIS Compliance
• Clear criminal and credit check
• Minimum of 3 years working experience (preferably in sales)
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Powerpoint and Outlook)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Presentations skills an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on a range of products to a defined market and be accountable for achieving results.
• Provide quality customer service while identifying opportunities to secure new business or support retention.
• Analyze problems to find best solutions, which could be technical or professional in nature.
• Receive visitors and assist with information requests, refer complex matters to colleagues.
• Enter CRM data after each contact to enable effective customer retention and business development.
• Set objectives for each sales call or meeting and tailor materials for decision-makers.
• Develop a relationship management plan to identify and build relationships with key decision-makers.
• Develop knowledge of policies and regulatory codes to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Monitor sales and market data to identify areas for business development within a region.
• Build a personal network within the business sector and represent the organization at events.
• Conduct primary data analysis to extract key themes for business insight.
• Demonstrate understanding of networking value by contributing to a network of people, technologies and ideas.
