Responsibilities
Mission / Core Purpose of the Job

The Consultant: Finance Business Partner will provide financial analysis, support, and guidance to designated areas to improve the accuracy and efficacy of financial data and systems. The role involves supporting performance monitoring, generating analysis, and providing insights to assist the Senior Manager.

Key Performance Areas
  • Assist in strategy formulation, budgeting, and planning, ensuring alignment with Group objectives.
  • Apply valuation techniques to determine business cases and investment opportunities.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights on cost leadership initiatives, resource allocations, and business performance.
  • Monitor business risks and evaluate proposals for investments, capex, and opex, assessing risks and returns.
  • Develop performance measures and KPIs across various business levels.
  • Create financial feasibility assessments for new/existing products and assist in pricing strategies.
  • Generate ad-hoc revenue, margin, and contract analysis; lead transformational projects, especially in finance systems enhancement.
  • Align with FP&A on performance management, conduct scenario analyses, and identify data sources.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within finance systems to enhance data accuracy and system efficacy.
  • Monitor and report on budget, plans, forecasts, and operational expenditure performance.
