Job Description: Are you looking for a consult only role with an established and supportive independent practice in the North West? If so, then this may be the position for you.

Our client is a RCVS tier 3 small animal hospital, first opinion and referral practice, home to state-of-the-art equipment, a team of 6 advanced practitioners, and an internal referral service which enables you to follow complex cases from initial referral to sign off without the responsibility.

In-house facilities include CT/MRI, ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy, laparoscopy, Idexx lab, and a cytology lab.

They are currently looking for a first opinion vet who is happy to voice their opinion and work with the team to provide an outstanding level of care to their clients' pets. Excellent communication skills are a must!

This is a full-time role where you will be required to work a 4-day week, with one in six Saturdays and no out of hours. New graduate applicants will be considered in addition to vets with varying levels of experience as in-house training and support is always at hand. The perfect candidate would be someone looking for a consult only role; however, if everything else fits and you would be interested in taking on some surgical cases also, then this could be considered.

Salary: Starting at £40k
Benefits: An environment for you to be your best, with an open-minded leadership team who are happy to take your opinion on board and change things, allocated admin time, and a flexible working day. Approachable, full in-house support in all disciplines of veterinary medicine, birthday lunches, in-house gym, and weekly fruit delivery. Regular out-of-work social activities to let your hair down, including all-you-can-eat summer BBQs, horse racing (exclusive box), and an annual all-expenses-paid Christmas party.
