Job description

CONSTRUCTION SALES REPRESENTATIVE (FREE STATE)

Overview : Achieve sales targets, action plans, and goals set by management by effectively servicing existing customers, acquiring new customers, and increasing sales.

Duties :

1. Servicing existing and new customers effectively by maintaining a regular call pattern
2. Forming a dynamic business relationship with existing as well as new customers
3. Acquiring new customers and new business
4. Increasing sales at existing customers
5. Ensuring that customers always have sufficient stock
6. Problem solving
7. Maintaining a professional business attitude in all daily transactions
8. Maintaining sound administration practices, including reports

Requirements :

1. Minimum 5 years of construction and/or industrial product selling experience
2. A sales/marketing qualification would be advantageous
3. Good knowledge of different construction products and clients
4. Willingness to do country trips when required
5. Willingness to work flexible hours when called upon
6. Possession of a valid unendorsed driver’s license

Remuneration :

Negotiable package (R18k to R25k) plus fuel allowance and commission
