Hire Resolve's client, a reputable multidisciplinary firm specializing in the development and execution of high-value infrastructure and building projects across South Africa, is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will lead project execution efforts, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from inception to close-out.
• Coordinate all close-out activities and ensure full compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Handle and resolve audit and compliance queries from stakeholders and client departments.
• Enforce the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act throughout all stages of the project.
• Implement and follow through on recommendations from internal and external audits.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Environmental Approval (EA) conditions across the project life cycle.
• Cultivate a strong culture of health and safety within the project team by promoting proactive safety initiatives.
• Ensure timely and effective communication and reporting to all stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably on large-scale infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong understanding of the OHS Act and environmental compliance requirements in South Africa.
• Proven ability to manage project close-out phases and handle audit and compliance queries.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• PMP or SACPCMP registration (advantageous).
