Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Construction Project Engineer to support ongoing projects in Centurion, Gauteng. You will contribute to technical and engineering aspects, ensuring designs are implemented to specification and quality standards.

Collaborating with site managers and design teams, you will resolve technical challenges and oversee construction methodologies. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Construction Engineering and at least four years of relevant experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of construction engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and technologies.
• Familiar with project management principles and site operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation for accuracy.
• Assist in developing project schedules and resource plans.
• Monitor construction activities for adherence to engineering standards, quality control and safety.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during construction.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and design consultants for seamless execution.
