Job summary

Cotech Building Careers is seeking a skilled Construction Planner based in KwaZulu-Natal. The role supports the Construction Department across one or more projects, interfacing with Development, Technical, Finance and Commercial teams throughout all phases.

You will develop planning systems, assist with programme preparation and revision, and contribute to logistics planning, 3D modelling, and CEMPs, while producing and updating progress reports in Excel.

Qualifications

• Develop and revise construction and pre-construction programmes.
• Assist with production of construction logistics plans and tender presentations.
• Assist with 3D modelling for project visuals.
• Prepare CEMPs (Construction and Environmental Management Plans).
• Create and maintain progress reporting schedules in Excel.
• Update monthly project progress reports and distribute updated programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine project construction programmes across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with Construction, Development, Technical, Finance and Commercial teams.
• Produce and update logistics plans and visual time slices.
• Contribute to 3D modelling activities for project planning.
• Prepare CEMPs and safety-related documentation.
• Generate progress schedules in Excel and monitor changes.
