Job summary

Communicate Finance in Western Cape seeks an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead road construction projects from planning to handover. You will oversee site operations, coordinate teams and suppliers, monitor progress, and ensure safety, quality and contractual compliance.

The role requires 5–10 years in civil construction with road project experience and COLTO/COTO familiarity, plus strong PM, leadership and cost-control skills. SACPCMP/ECSA registration is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in civil construction with strong road construction experience.
• Proven experience with COLTO/COTO Class 1 and Class 2 road projects.
• Experience managing 2–3 similar projects valued above R30 million.
• Strong project management, leadership and site coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of construction planning, scheduling and cost control.
• Proficiency in Candy and/or MS Project.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
